Our Staff Team
We couldn’t do what we do at CBC without the hard work of our many volunteers, but in addition to them - and endeavouring not to get in their way! - is the staff team.
Rev Ellen Wild - Minister & Team Leader
Ellen joined the team here at CBC in 2011 as an additional Minister, and was appointed as the Team Leader in 2021. She had previously spent 8 years at a church in SW London after training for ministry at Spurgeon's College. She is married to Kevin and they have two boys, Zac and Alex. Ellen loves baking, running, theatre, coffee shops and inspiring people to share the good news of God's love.
Rev Andy Morgan - Minister & Youth Ministry Lead
Andy joined CBC in September 2013 after moving from Southampton to become the Youth Ministry Lead at the church. He is married to Lindsey, and has three children, Olivia, Lewis and Zachery. Andy loves spending time with his family, the great outdoors and any kind of sporting challenge. He was accredited as a Baptist Minister in 2021, and should be addressed as Revd. Andy Morgan, Minister for Fun.
Bruno Kondabéka - Pastoral Ministry Lead
Bruno joined the CBC team in January 2023. Originally from the Congo (Brazzaville), his journey has taken him to France, South Africa, and Milton Keynes before arriving in Chichester in 1995 where he has been in church ministry eversince. Bruno is married to the wonderful Joanne, and they have 3 boys, Jean-Luc, Stéphane and Samuel. He is passionate about seeing people flourish and achieve their God-given potential. His other loves are Arsenal and the French baguette.
Calvin Hollingworth - Worship Ministry Lead
Calvin took up the role of Worship Ministry Lead in October 2018. He oversees the music and corporate worship at CBC. He is passionate about music of many kinds and its valuable place in church life. He loves hanging out with his wife Cecily and their two young boys Alfred and Laurie and enjoys walking, reading, Laurel and Hardy films, real ale and avidly following the mighty West Bromwich Albion!
Tabitha Clough - Children’s Ministry Lead
Tabitha started attending CBC in 2018 when she moved from her home town in South Wales to study music at the University of Chichester. After graduating, she spent a year working with UCCF as a Relay Worker and having spent time on the team at CBC as a Youth and Children’s Ministry Assistant, Tabitha was appointed as our Children’s Ministry Lead in January 2023. Tabitha loves musical theatre, dogs, dessert and helping people grapple with faith, in light of God’s wonderful grace.
Maria Richardson - Operations Lead
Maria has been coming to CBC from a young age and after living in Bristol for a number of years moved back and joined as a member with her family. Her husband, Andy, is a teacher and they have two young children, Amelie and Benji. Maria has previously worked as a police officer in Avon and Somerset Police and Sussex Police. She joined the team as Operations Lead in October 2024 and likes problem solving and thinking of new creative ways to do things. Maria loves the outdoors, gardening, cooking, camping and the occasional cold water swim, if she's feeling brave!
Paul Woodfield - Church Administrator
Paul became the Church Administrator in April 2009. He loves the job and serving the local church despite the occasional challenging and bizarre random requests! A long-suffering Hammers fan, an occasional ornithologist, a relaxing evening for him would be with a glass of red wine and a nice curry.
Petra Friesner - CAP Centre Manager
Petra joined the CBC team in July 2024 as the CAP Centre Manager for our CAP debt centre. Petra has a son Jack at university. Following careers in both banking and counselling, she is well placed to bring help and hope to those struggling with the impact of financial debt. Petra enjoys walking, being in nature and an occasional bit of baking.
Adrian Dadds - CAP Debt Coach
Adrian joined the CBC team in November 2023 as a Debt Coach for the CAP Debt Centre. He is married to Rachel and they have 3 children and 3 grandsons. He loves being outside, either in the garden walking the dogs or on a bike. In 2019 he cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats to help raise money for a small charity (Kicking Off) and their work with children in Ghana.
Jo Jeffers - Accountant
Jo joined CBC in November 2022 after having happily worshipped and served for 11 years in another local church. She is married to Joseph and has two wonderful girls Maisie and Tilly. Jo loves to be creative and enjoys creation through long beach walks and swimming. She also loves to paint, cook and entertain friends and family.
In addition to paid staff, the church is also ably served by a team of deacons: Angela, Guy, Ian, Jo, Mark & Tom.
