Acorns

We are a welcoming and friendly group, offering a morning of fun activities and play for preschool children, and a time for parents and carers to meet and catch up. 

We meet on Tuesdays, during term time in two sessions, from 9am - 10.15am and 10.45am - 12.00pm. Entrance is £1 per family. 

To ensure we continue to meet our aim of getting to know those who come by keeping our numbers manageable, we have a waiting list for new families.  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please follow this link and complete the online form.  We will then be in touch as soon as a place becomes available. We do give priority to local families, as we seek to serve and support our community. 

During the morning, we have a simple craft activity, lots of ride on toys to burn off some energy, with a story and  singing time at the end. We have a large range of baby and toddler toys and a quieter room for sharing some books together.  Our Acorns café is open throughout the morning. 

While at Acorns, we do ask that you are responsible for your child at all times, as well as ensuring their behaviour is safe and appropriate. Acorns Team (who are all DBS checked and wear a blue team T-shirt) are always happy to help, but can’t be responsible for your child.  

For everybody’s safety we also ask that you keep drinks and snacks in the café area only.
