Opportunity Knocks
With reports of Google searches for prayer rocketing during lockdown, and online church service higher than previous physical church attendance, we want to make the most of this opportunity that we have to help people explore the Christian faith and introduce them to Jesus. We are planning two things to help us do this:
In June we are going to do a mini-series called ‘The Search’ for our online Sunday services which will explore both our search for God, and God’s search for us. We hope these services will be particularly helpful and accessible for those who aren’t followers of Jesus. Is there someone you could invite to join in from their own home? Simply send them the link for the service when we get there.
We are excited to be starting Alpha Online soon! The six-week course will start on Tuesday June 16th at 8pm. Hosted by Ian and Rosi White, this course will use video material and discussion groups via Zoom to think about subjects like “Why did Jesus die?” and “How and why should I pray?”. For more information, please visit the Alpha page on our website: chichesterbaptist.org/alpha, from where you can sign up. Or if you are ready to sign up now, please click here.
