What is the church doing?

The Creation Care Focus Group is a small group with the aim to assist CBC, as a body and as individuals, to care for God’s creation. We don’t have all the questions, let alone the answers, but want to journey with others to obey God in this important part of our overall walk with him. In particular, we seek to:

pray for the aspect of discipleship that involves taking good and sustainable care of God’s creation, both people and planet. An important part of this is social justice: caring for and showing God’s love to our neighbour;
facilitate and encourage more sustainable lifestyles within the church and church family;
pursue action through focused small, manageable steps;
reduce the carbon footprint of our church building and activities;
organise and/or support events/initiatives with such purposes.
