Global Prayer Group

The Global Prayer Group meets on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm at the church. Its aim is to encourage people to pray and become more informed about mission in all parts of the world. We support members of CBC already involved in mission, those who are seeking guidance for possible future mission activity and others who have friends and family engaged in mission.

Over the last year we have heard about work in North Africa through one of our members. We are currently praying for a couple who work for periods of time in Central Asia supporting the promotion of ethical business partnerships and who encourage the indigenous Christian population. Another couple, recently returned from India and after receiving extra training, are now working in Bethlehem. More recently still, a member of CBC, who has been teaching in Senegal, is at present seeking guidance for mission in the future. The needs of the persecuted church are high on the agenda as is the local work amongst the international students.

Please join us. We find these occasions stimulating and they encourage our individual prayer life too.
