The first of two walks that are offered to the Retired Men’s Group and anyone else who is interested, which make use of part of “The Old Way”, a conjectured ancient pilgrimage route from Southampton to Canterbury, via Chichester.

Starting from CBC, using the Centurion Way via Fishbourne Church to Apuldram Church. This would be a combination of part of the Winchester to Chichester route and a variant of the Havant to Chichester stage. This is short at 4.76 km (3 miles), probably about 1½ hours. The 53 bus could be used to return to Chichester.
