Monday 18th October @ 7 pm -Talk on Science, the Universe and God led by David Bacon, Professor of Cosmology at the University of Portsmouth

David will cover the issues of

• The important ongoing discussion about how religion relates to science, in connection to the Universe that we observe.

• Does the science clash with Christian beliefs?

• How should we deal with the fact that people come to differing views about this?

In this evening workshop, David Bacon will suggest some possible ways forward; there will be plenty of time to discuss, explore and wonder.

David is a Professor of Cosmology at the University of Portsmouth. He is an expert in detecting the effects of invisible aspects of the Universe, including dark matter, dark energy and gravity.
