Words of Hope
One of the things we have learnt as a church over the years is that there is real value in doing things together. It’s with that in mind, wanting to tap into the special energy and shared commitment that come with things like this, that we are launching Words of Hope in just over 3 weeks’ time.

Week 1: Fulfilment (starting 14th September)
Key verse: ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ (Matthew 16:16)
Day 1: Isaiah 9:6-7. The Messiah was prophesied
Day 2: Luke 2:25-32. The Messiah was anticipated
Day 3: Matthew 16:13-17. Jesus is the Messiah
Day 4: John 20:24-31. We are invited to believe in Jesus as Messiah to have life
Day 5: Acts 2:29-36. The Messiah has been exalted
Week 2: Kingdom
Key verse: ‘The kingdom of God has come near’ (Mark 1:15)
Day 6: Mark 1:9-15. The Kingdom came near with Jesus
Day 7: John 18:33-37. The Kingdom is not of this world
Day 8: Luke 17:20-21. The Kingdom is present
Day 9: Matthew 21:28-32. The Kingdom must be entered

Week 3: Cross

Week 5: Covenant
